Ferguson Enterprises Joins
Thermostat Recycling Corporation’s Program.
200 HVAC locations are participating to recycle mercury thermostats.
Ferguson Enterprises is partnering with Thermostat Recycling
Corporation (TRC) to now offer TRC’s program in its HVAC division
branch locations. Ferguson is the third largest wholesale
distributor of HVAC equipment, parts and supplies in the United
States. In addition to the Ferguson brand, they can be found
nationwide doing business as Lyon, Conklin & Co. Inc., Air Cold
Supply, Ferguson Heating & Cooling, Western Air Supply, and Redlon &
Johnson.

“Doing the right thing
doesn’t have to be difficult. We are excited to be formally
joining the effort to properly dispose of old mercury
thermostats,” stated Ferguson’s Alex Hutcherson, Vice
President of the HVAC Region. “Thermostat Recycling
Corporation has made it easy for us and now we can make it
easy for a larger group of our customers,” he said.
